Job summary

UL Solutions in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to establish, implement and maintain EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting safe working conditions. You will investigate incidents, lead audits, train employees, and coordinate with Facilities and Lab teams; travel up to 10–15% allowed; onsite five days a week.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field, advanced certification and 4+ years of related experience; a bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Engineering plus advanced credential or 4+ years experience.
• Master’s degree or CIH/PE/CSP or Professional Engineer license and 4+ years experience.
• Travel up to 10-15% and flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops, documents and maintains EHS programs in compliance with laws.
• Record and maintain data on safety incidents and investigations.
• Lead safety training and audits with cross-functional teams.
