Job summary

ACE Partners seeks a Sr. EHS Specialist for our Lexington, KY manufacturing site. This onsite role supports Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Sustainability programs; relocation or commuting to the area is encouraged.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in EHS within chemical or high-risk manufacturing, strong OSHA/regulatory knowledge, and experience with risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations. Preferred: HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR/AED, PSM, and ASP certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3–5+ years EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• HAZWOPER/First Aid-CPR/AED/PSM/ASP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive regulatory compliance and risk management (OSHA, EPA).
• Lead training on risk awareness, PSM, and JHA best practices.
• Support environmental programs (air, wastewater, waste, SPCC, CERCLA).
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and chemical spill response.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, HR, and Quality.

A well-established manufacturing site is looking for a Sr. EHS Specialist to support Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Sustainability programs. This is a full-time, onsite role - open to candidates willing to commute or relocate to the area.

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, technical discipline preferred (Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene)
• 3-5+ years of progressive EHS experience in chemical or broader manufacturing/high-risk industries
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations, with the ability to interpret and implement requirements
• Experience with risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
• Preferred: HAZWOPER (24 or 40-hour), First Aid/CPR/AED, PSM experience, ASP/GSP certification
