Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking an on-site Electrical Engineering lead to drive electrical and control system design across the site. You will serve as a technical resource, developing standards, training, and supporting project teams through design, execution, and startup of control systems.

You will program Rockwell platforms, configure industrial networks, and collaborate with maintenance, operations, and procurement on CAPEX and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial control system design or programming.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation control platforms and software.
• Knowledge of industrial networking, control system integration, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Preferred: food industry experience and GMP knowledge.
• Experience with building automation for HVAC and environmental controls.
• Willingness to provide off-shift and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site technical lead for electrical and control systems engineering.
• Troubleshoot automation, control, and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide backup technical support for the Electrical Team Leader.
• Develop and maintain sitewide standards for control hardware, software, and programming.
• Program and maintain Rockwell platforms (RSLogix/Studio 5000).
• Configure network infrastructure and managed switches.
• Support CAPEX planning, cost savings, and supplier partnerships.
• Assist with obsolescence management and software updates.
• Review front end loading packages for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Provide on-site technical support during design reviews and startup activities.
• Support third-party integrators and factory acceptance testing.
