Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet analysis.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and accounting records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity for accuracy.
• Research discrepancies and unusual transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Maintain supporting documentation for transactions and reconciliations.
• Monitor processes and seek efficiency improvements.
• Assist with audits and provide documentation as requested.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Support the Accounting Manager/Controller and team.
