Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience (internship considered).
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger with supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close including accruals and journal entries.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements (GAAP).
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts and report variances.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with data analysis.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests with schedules.
• Improve internal controls and accounting policies.
