Job summary

E-Therapy is hiring an Onsite School Social Worker in Holly, Michigan to support 6th–8th grade students for the 2026–2027 school year. The role requires an MI Social Worker License and MDE credential, with a starting wage of $50 per hour and full-time hours (37.5/week).

You will conduct assessments, provide individual and group counseling, respond to crises, and help with IEP/504 planning while coordinating with families, teachers, and community resources. The position is onsite only.

Qualifications

• MSW from CSWE-accredited program.
• Active LCSW or LMSW with supervision acceptable depending on state/district.
• Experience in clinical or school-based social work with children and adolescents.
• Strong skills in assessment, counseling and crisis response.
• Knowledge of school systems and evidence‑based interventions.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic recordkeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' mental health and social-emotional needs with teachers and families.
• Provide individual and group counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
• Respond to crises in the school setting, including suicide risk assessments.
• Assist with IEPs and 504 Plans addressing emotional and social goals.
• Liaise with families and community agencies to coordinate services.
• Develop and implement SEL initiatives to improve school climate.
• Consult with teachers on behavioral strategies and trauma-informed care.
• Maintain documentation per policies and confidentiality.
