Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-5 students onsite in Huntsville, Alabama. This full-time contract role emphasizes direct therapy, collaboration with educators and families, and adherence to CCC standards.

You will conduct assessments, develop IEP-based plans, participate in meetings, and monitor progress for about 55 students. Teletherapy is optional, but not required.

Qualifications

• CCC required
• Experience in pediatric or K-12 speech-language therapy, preferably within a school setting
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in evidence-based assessment and intervention methods
• Teletherapy experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students
• Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Monitor and document student progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Support students in achieving their communication and academic goals
