Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP-CCC) for a contract role in a therapeutic day school serving about 20 students for the 2026-2027 year. The position is onsite and involves direct and consultative services to support student communication and feeding goals.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat disorders, develop IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, document progress, and ensure district compliance. 37 hours/week with competitive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current Illinois SLP license required.
• PEL through ISBE for Illinois schools required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders in a dedicated therapeutic day school.
• Develop and implement personalized IEP goals and intervention plans tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support.
• Document progress and maintain compliance with all state and school district requirements.
• Provide direct and consultative services as needed, adapting methodologies to optimize student outcomes.
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive environment encouraging communication growth.
