Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated speech-language pathologist (SLP-CCC) to cover a maternity leave for PreK-4 students at an elementary school near Oneonta, AL. This full-time, onsite role involves collaboration with teachers and families to support student goals and IEPs.

You will assess and deliver therapy for communication disorders, maintain documentation, and contribute to a supportive special education team for about 50 students during the 12-week assignment from January 4 to March 19, 2027.

Qualifications

Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
Current Educator Certification for school-based practice.
Experience with elementary-aged children (PreK-4) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders.
Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school policies.
Work as a vital part of the special education team, contributing expertise for student success.
Deliver engaging individual and small group therapy, targeting student goals.
Support generalization of skills in classroom and school activities.
