Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in implementing a variety of occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations and evaluating cost and risk factors.
• Ability to interpret and apply a variety of laws, rules and regulations.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA and other standards through inspections.
• Maintain safety programs and worker's compensation procedures.
• Provide training to managers on safe work practices and safety materials.
• Deliver monthly status reports to local management.
• Monitor injury data and recommend hazard elimination strategies.
• Coordinate return-to-work processes for injured employees.
• Conduct safety inspections and on-site walk-throughs.
• Prepare annual safety and incident reports with Risk Management.
