Job summary

OBR in the Cooling Towers division seeks a Safety Specialist to enforce OSHA compliance on active projects, inspect sites, enforce policies, and lead safety meetings. Travel may be required, and you will support incident investigations and risk reduction with leadership.

Requirements include a high school diploma, an associate degree in occupational health and safety, and OSHA certifications (OSHA 500, CSHO, CHST, STS-C). U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in occupational health and safety or related field.
• Industry certifications such as OSHA 500, CSHO, CHST, STS-C.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on OSHA regulations and apply expertise on job sites.
• Identify and mitigate workplace health and safety hazards.
• Support safe work processes (JSAs, THAs, Safe Work Procedures).
• Enforce safety policies at job sites and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain safety documentation and records.
• Conduct internal and customer-site safety audits/inspections.
• Collaborate with leadership to analyze trends and implement actions.
• Lead on-site safety meetings and ensure compliance.
