OBR Cooling Towers is seeking a Safety Specialist to oversee and enforce safety on active construction projects across sites. You will ensure OSHA compliance and lead safety initiatives, trainings, and audits while collaborating with site leadership and EH&S groups.

Travel to job locations may be required. You will develop and enforce JSAs and SWPs, manage safety documentation, and drive corrective actions through data analysis and leadership engagement.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AS in occupational health and safety or 1 year safety experience preferred.
• Certifications such as OSHA 500, CSHO, CHST, STS-C preferred.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Stay current on OSHA regulations and apply on sites.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards.
• Support safe work processes (JSAs, THAs, Safe Work Procedures).
• Enforce safety policies at job sites.
• Respond quickly to emergencies.
• Maintain safety documentation and records.
• Monitor and investigate near-miss incidents.
• Conduct audits/inspections and assist in investigations.
