Job summary

Valley Interior Systems in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator to implement and enforce safety on active commercial construction sites, supporting a strong safety culture with field leadership.

The role requires OSHA 30 and SMS/CHST credentials, a bilingual English/Spanish ability, and the ability to read manuals, reports, and procedures. Typical schedule is Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 and SMS or CHST required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, more than conversational.
• Ability to read manuals, reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for safety-related project questions and problem-solving.
• Coordinate and track employee training requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Safety Manager and Director to communicate needs and trends on the job site.
• Assist with pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and new worker orientations and trainings.
• Investigate incidents and ensure proper treatment and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with incident response, data gathering, and follow-up actions.
• Perform safety audits and inspections and reporting.
