Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Safety Manager for a large-scale industrial construction project in Golden, CO. You will provide daily onsite safety oversight, conduct inspections, and lead safety meetings to promote a proactive safety culture.

The role supports demolition, equipment installation, and new building construction with ~230 onsite personnel, growing to 300. The position is a 1099 contractor with a 6+ month duration and 60-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of construction safety experience.
• Experience in industrial construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily onsite safety oversight for construction activities.
• Conduct routine field inspections and safety audits; monitor contractor and self-perform crew compliance.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site orientations.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions.
• Support safety planning for demolition, installation, and construction activities.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across project personnel.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.
