The ideal candidate has 5+ years in site safety on complex projects, strong field presence, and experience coordinating safety with contractors and client personnel to protect personnel and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Site Safety Manager on large or complex construction projects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience conducting safety audits, orientations, and toolbox talks.
• Strong field presence and leadership abilities.
• Experience working around multiple contractors and active construction operations.
• Ability to manage safety documentation and project compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety audits and inspections.
• Lead employee and contractor safety orientations.
• Facilitate toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas.
• Monitor demolition and installation activities.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
• Review safe work practices and project requirements with crews.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management and field supervision.
• Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain required safety documentation and reporting.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project.
