Job summary

Intex Electrical Contractors, Inc. seeks a dedicated Site Safety Inspector to oversee safety protocols and ensure a secure work environment for all employees.

The role supports the Safety Coordinator and safety managers in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Primary duties include supervising safety policy enforcement, coordinating safety trainings, conducting regular inspections, and maintaining site safety documentation.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 preferred.
• CPR/First Aid instructor license preferred.
• Must have a current driver's license.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work effectively with superintendents, foremen and field personnel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise enforcement of safety policies and procedures.
• Identify, coordinate and conduct safety training sessions.
• Perform regular jobsite safety inspections to ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Identify hazards and correct OSHA-related issues on construction sites.
• Assist investigations of accidents requiring medical attention.
• Attend required safety audits and maintain site safety documents.
• Document safety topics for employees (first aid, CPR, electrical safety, PPE, equipment).
• Maintain inventory of Personal Protective Equipment and PPE supplies.
