Job summary

ERRG is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer to lead the project Safety and Occupational Health program on assigned field activities. You will serve as the on-site safety authority, administer the APP, AHAs, and ensure compliance by employees and subcontractors.

You bring a bachelor’s degree in safety, SSHO qualification, and at least 5 years of SOH experience; OSHA and HAZWOPER training; strong communication and documentation skills; and ability to stop work for safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health.
• Meet SSHO Level 1 qualification requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of cumulative safety and occupational health experience.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health certificate.
• HAZWOPER 40-hour certification and current refresher.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce site APP and health plans.
• Review AHAs and verify controls.
• Coordinate with project team and client safety reps.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and track corrective actions.
• Manage exposure monitoring and PPE programs.
