Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team seeks an Onsite Medical Representative to support daily first aid and safety operations at the Kansas City site. You will assess injuries, refer to providers, maintain records, and coach associates on safe work practices.

Responsibilities include coordinating workers’ comp and return-to-work programs, facilitating first aid, CPR, and AED trainings, and working flexible shifts to cover days, nights, weekends.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma required.
• BLS certification required; EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification preferred.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and workers' compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and referrals to external medical providers.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care and workers' compensation activities.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Deliver daily activity logs and shift reports.
• Coach associates on observed at-risk behaviors and safe work practices.
