Job summary

XPO is seeking an Associate Analyst, Onsite Safety to join our safety team in a 24/7 operation. You will oversee injury reporting, triage, and preventive safety programs, working closely with operations to protect workers and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates will hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in health and safety, possess relevant certifications, and demonstrate strong communication skills to coach teams and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene or business.
• OSHA 300 General Industry certification or equivalent.
• First Aid/CPR/AED, EMS training certificates.
• Experience coaching peers to lead conversations that improve safety, quality and accountability.
• Strong communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate injury reporting and triage for employee injuries.
• Coach supervisors on safe lifting, PPE use and injury prevention.
• Conduct root cause investigations of incidents.
• Collaborate with management to drive corrective actions.
• Present safety content in pre-shift meetings.
• Support local safety committee meetings and projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and XPO policy.
• Assist with roadside inspection documentation, CDL endorsements and DOT Hours of Service.
• Shifts vary to cover a 24/7 operation, including late night or early morning.
