Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Associate Analyst, Onsite Safety to support safety programs at our US operations. The role focuses on injury triage, coaching supervisors on safe lifting and PPE use, and driving corrective actions across shifts for a 24/7 operation.

You will collaborate with management and employees to implement strong safety practices, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Requires associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene or business.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• OSHA 300 General Industry certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
• EMS training background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate injury reporting and triage for employee injuries, providing first aid when needed.
• Coach operations supervisors to reinforce lifting techniques, PPE use, and injury prevention practices.
• Complete root cause investigations for accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with management to drive corrective actions prioritizing business needs.
• Present safety content in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Participate in local safety committee meetings and support projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and XPO safety policy.
• Assist with roadside inspection documentation, CDL endorsements and DOT Hours of Service compliance.
• Shift variations include late night and/or early morning coverage for 24/7 operation.
