Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is hiring an RF Test Engineer to join the RF Engineering team in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The role is 100% onsite and involves hands-on RF testing, verification, and reporting on system performance.

You will work with AWR Microwave Office and Altium, troubleshoot EMI and stability issues, and help advance test strategies while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience.
• Good working knowledge of RF board layout, fabrication, and packaging.
• Hands-on experience solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues.
• Experience using RF simulation tools (AWR Microwave Office, Altium).
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident).
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Use RF test equipment to evaluate system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Carry out RF test execution and generate status and test reports.
• Define verification matrix and internal rf performance specifications.
• Review test data to ensure actual performance meets requirements.
• Review and recommend improvements to test strategies.
• Design test fixtures and calibrate test equipment.
• Understand proper use and handling of sensitive RF circuits.
• Perform other related duties as required.
