Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks an Engineering Technician – Electronics to perform hands-on electronics testing, debug components, and support manufacturing transitions in Irvine, CA. You will run RF, digital, and mechanical tests, log data, and help ensure product quality under supervision of hardware engineers.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED with electronics/RF experience; associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with electronics/RF experience.
• Reading complex schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs and drawings.
• Strong soldering and mechanical assembly skills under microscope.
• Familiarity with test equipment and lab safety standards.
• Basic scripting to control instruments (Python/LabVIEW) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on electronics testing and RF hardware support tasks.
• Execute product qualification tests including environmental stress tests.
• Assist design engineers with component-level debugging.
• Prepare test configurations and document results for NPI transfer.
• Maintain lab safety, calibration schedules, and inventory.
