Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as TurboTax Retail Experts at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will work on-site providing full service tax return preparation and tax advice, helping customers navigate their tax needs and building lasting relationships within the local community.

You will grow TurboTax’s client base, leverage marketing support, and use TurboTax tools to deliver accurate tax solutions in clear, everyday language.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as the public face of TurboTax in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing, making taxes accessible and approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions in clear everyday language.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
• Connect with people to build long-term trust and repeat business.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools.
• Address client inquiries while helping them overcome tax-related challenges.
