Job summary

Intuit is hiring year-round TurboTax Retail Experts to work onsite at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and software support to customers in-person, helping them navigate complex tax situations while building lasting relationships in your community.

The role emphasizes community engagement, local marketing support, and the ability to grow a client base.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sundays through Saturdays, for at least 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador in the local TurboTax location.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, including simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize taxes, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
• Interact with customers in-person and through TurboTax tools to address inquiries and tax challenges.
