Job summary

CNRG is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide on-site and remote IT support for retail equipment, POS, network, and communications. You will respond to calls, emails, and tickets, document actions, travel to stores, and work with vendors and internal teams.

Candidates should have 2+ years IT support, CompTIA A+ certification, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and on-site with rotating schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Good oral/written communication skills to interact with customers, vendors and employees.
• Must be customer service-oriented and team-oriented.
• Good organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize by operational impact.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Travel to stores may be required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• IT Support: 2 years (Preferred).
• Experience in Retail or hospitality environment a plus.
• Point of Sale experience a plus.
• Basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting for computing hardware and peripherals, printing/scanning equipment, and POS applications.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve network-related issues.
• Maintain records of troubleshooting and support activities in the ticketing system.
• Answer support calls and manage email/tickets professionally and promptly.
• Travel to store locations as needed; remote work may be required during inclement weather.
