Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and cleanliness standards across the property. The role includes responding to service requests, conducting preventative maintenance, and supporting make-ready activities for vacant units.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, coordinating vendors, documenting tasks, and maintaining inventories.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local certifications as required by jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs in compliance with safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Access and track materials, supplies, equipment, and tools; notify supervisor for re-ordering.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities as needed, including cleaning and painting.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing parts where possible and using tools efficiently.
• Attend safety meetings and training; comply with OSHA and safety regulations.
• Periodically inspect work performed by contractors to ensure quality and scope.
