Job summary

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Team Lead is a boots-on-the-ground supervisor who oversees a team of associates that serves our customers in the pick-up of their items.

This position reports to the General Manager (GM). The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, training, and timely communication with management to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer interactions

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds solo and 50 pounds with a team.
• On-site availability Monday–Friday, 9:45am–6:15pm, with 8 hours and a lunch break.
• Must be customer-focused.
• Ability to follow written directions and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating items per our racking system.
• Scan customers into the pick-up queue and out when merchandise leaves.
• Provide each customer with a great experience.
• Serve as subject matter expert on all department positions.
• Ensure adequate training for each team member.
• Lead the removal team to meet company goals.
• Escalate issues to the GM as needed.
• Approve and submit team timesheets.
• Discuss disciplinary action with the GM and inform the employee.
• Contribute to performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and communicate with supervisory team.
