Job summary

Labcorp in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Technical Service Specialist to maintain LC-MS/MS instrumentation and robotic liquid handlers. You will work closely with operations and R&D teams to ensure instrument performance and reliability.

The role requires a strong background in LC-MS/MS, calibration, troubleshooting, and documentation, with opportunities to participate in process improvements and efficiency projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science degree in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in a laboratory.
• 4+ years of experience with LC-MS/MS instrumental analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on LC-MS/MS instrumentation and robotic liquid handlers.
• Provide on-site and remote support; collaborate with operations and vendors to maintain instrument performance.
• Maintain logs and documentation for maintenance and instrument status.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs with internal teams and external vendors.
• Explain correct operation of equipment to lab personnel and assist with issue resolution.
