Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality of life in line with patient goals.

You will educate patients and staff, follow standards, collaborate with dining and care teams, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Passed the national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and improvement of quality programs.
