Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs of patients, initiate interventions to support nutritional status, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.

You will educate the care team, follow standards of practice, and collaborate across departments to ensure best nutrition practices within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered dietitian or eligible by the CDR.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff or consultants.
• Adhere to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop procedures and policies for dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development and evaluation of continuous quality improvement programs.
