Elior Living is seeking a registered dietitian to join the healthcare team at John J. Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life for residents in a hospital-like setting.

Role requires licensure or eligibility with the CDR, ongoing continuing education, and ability to teach nutrition to staff and residents. Onsite full-time opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Passed the national exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach nutrition and dietetics to others.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, and consultants.
• Follow professional practice standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures related to dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
