Job summary

Watco Transloading in Twin Falls, ID is hiring a Track Laborer. This hourly, full-time role focuses on inspecting, repairing, and maintaining railroad track infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable service for Watco customers.

The position requires passing required safety and operating tests during a structured training period and performing physically demanding manual labor as part of daily duties. Onsite work at the rail facilities is expected.

Qualifications

Must be able to pass and obtain required reporting, testing and certifications.
This is a manual labor position and requires training during an introductory period.
Must be 18+ with High School or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist with inspecting, loading and unloading rail components and track materials.
Assist with inspecting, grinding, fabrication and repair of rail components.
Assist with inspection and maintenance of track turnouts and infrastructure.
Inspect and repair road crossings, bridges, and other facilities as needed.
Read gauges and schematics and report findings accurately.
Operate equipment such as backhoe and track hoe as trained.
