Qualifications
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
Current certification by ARRT (R). Interventional Radiology (IR) cross training available.
Licensure by the State of Illinois (IEMA).
Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic imaging studies as assigned.
Assists physician in performing imaging studies.
Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients.
Maintains technical imaging equipment in proper working condition.
