Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. This full-time, onsite position operates on the weekend days schedule with 80 hours per pay period.

The role performs imaging procedures in accordance with standards and organizational policies, while contributing to patient education and safety. Qualifications include an accredited radiologic technology program completion, ARRT registration, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by ARRT (R).
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; schedule procedures and educate patients.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as applicable; monitor patient condition.
• Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, and ensure safety; perform quality control and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures; analyze results and address image quality issues.
• Work with radiology team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
