UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures in the Radiology Diagnostic department during nights. This full-time, onsite role operates with a structured progression for skill, responsibility, and pay.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment and imaging parameters; ensure safety and QC; resolve equipment issues.
  • Position patients and perform imaging; analyze results; transmit images; may assist Radiology students.
  • Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and exercise professional judgment.

Shift: Nights

Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 per hour, dependent on relevant experience

Onsite role – no hybrid or remote options.

Summary

Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Reviews patient history, physician orders and performs scheduling; educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies; selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters; implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures; troubleshoots and resolves equipment malfunctions.
  • Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action, including repositioning and repeating procedures; enters and transmits images; may collaborate with Radiology students.
  • Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision; must perform in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); specialty ARRT certification(s) if required.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date; card must be valid through 60 days of hire.
