Job summary

UCHealth UCHlth Prospect Medical Center in Fort Collins, CO is hiring a Radiography - X Ray Technologist for a full-time onsite role. Schedule is Days, 80 hours per pay period. Pay ranges from $28.38 to $39.74 per hour, depending on experience.

The position requires ARRT registration and BLS certification, with no prior experience required. Minimum education is graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; licensure as required by state law.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT-registered radiologic technologist.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS Healthcare Provider.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and initiates Radiographic images based on physician order and prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
• Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
• Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Implements techniques to yield image clarity, quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART).
