Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Medical Center in Longmont, CO, is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist for the LPMC Diagnostic Radiology department. The role is onsite with a day shift, 80 hours per pay period, and a pay range of $28.38 - $39.74 per hour dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, preparing contrast, positioning patients, capturing and transmitting images, and ensuring imaging quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by ARRT. Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position.
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders; schedules and educates patient about procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications as allowed; monitors patient status.
• Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors, ensures safety and QC on equipment; reports malfunctions.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and resolves image quality issues; transmits images.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
