Job summary

A leading electronics testing company in Colorado Springs is seeking an R&D Technician 2 to support new product introduction by building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and characterizing instrument prototypes while assisting manufacturing process development in the NPI lab.

Responsibilities include working in an ESD-controlled environment, assembling PCAs and prototypes, calibrating and running automated tests, and helping maintain the NPI laboratory and lab processes throughout the R&D

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environments.
Associate’s degree or electronics certifications preferred.
Experience with electronic/mechanical assembly including torque drivers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Work in an ESD-controlled environment and collaborate with NPI Engineers to troubleshoot and repair PCAs and electronic prototypes.
Build and assemble instrument prototypes, including electronic and mechanical assemblies, using torque drivers.
Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes and collect characterization data.
Maintain the NPI laboratory and support manufacturing process development for new products.
Identify and solve technical problems under schedule pressure in a cross‑functional team.
