Job summary

Avispa is seeking an R&D Technician 2 to support new product introduction by building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and characterizing instrument prototypes in the NPI laboratory. You will work in an ESD-controlled environment alongside NPI Engineers, Technicians, and ERD Engineers to turn on PCAs, assemble devices, and run automated tests under controlled conditions.

Qualifications

3–5 years of electronics manufacturing or NPI experience.
Associate degree or electronics certifications preferred.
Solid knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
Experience with electronic/mechanical assembly and torque drivers.
Proficient with Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Work in an ESD-controlled environment to troubleshoot and repair PCAs and prototypes.
Build instrument prototypes and calibrate automated tests.
Maintain test racks and collect characterization data under varied conditions.
Support lab and manufacturing process development during the NPI cycle.
Identify and solve technical problems under schedule pressure in a fast-paced team.
