Job summary

Frontgrade Technologies in Plainview, NY seeks an Electronics Engineering Technician II to support design engineering, prototype and test activities. You will operate and set up electronic/mechanical testing equipment, document results, and perform routine repairs.

The role includes hands-on prototyping and collaboration with the design team. Typical responsibilities include working with DMMs, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, and assisting with equipment installations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics testing or related area required.

Responsibilities

• Verify and operate automated test equipment and cables.
• Assist with installations and upgrades of equipment.
• Use digital multimeters and oscilloscopes for testing and measurements.
• Assemble test fixtures and set up equipment for product development.
• Recommend tools and fixtures and support procurement.
• Prototype and test new/modified designs under supervision.
