Job summary

NEOTECH in Colorado is seeking a production test technician with RF experience to join our electronics manufacturing team. You will read schematics, identify faults on PCB assemblies, and perform functional and boundary-scan tests, while maintaining compliance with NEOTECH and ISO quality systems.

Responsibilities include training junior testers, documenting test results, supporting process improvements, backups, diagnostics, and safety initiatives, with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be highly computer literate.
• Strong deductive reasoning and problem solving.
• Clear and comprehensive verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling procedures.
• Identify faulted components or defects on production PCBs and submit for re-work.
• Read, interpret, and react to schematics for troubleshooting.
• Test PCBs including functional and boundary scan tests.
• Run software backups, diagnostics and preventive maintenance on tester control computers.
• Support production test operator training and certification program.
• Support test engineering development projects as required.
• Create test reports describing results and findings.
• Interface with cross functional departments and customers as needed.
• Track yield/troubleshooting details using Clarity for tested assemblies.
• Comply with NEOTECH ISO and quality management systems.
• Train production test debug technicians and support 6S objectives.
• Perform other duties, possibly overtime and Saturdays.
