Job summary

Solid Power in Denver, Colorado is looking for a motivated R&D Intern to enhance their innovative team. This role involves assisting with materials characterization and lab-scale cell builds, specifically focused on all solid-state rechargeable batteries.

The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in chemistry or related fields and will work 10-15 hours during the Fall and more during the Summer. Experience with laboratory techniques is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor's degree, preferably Junior/Senior level.
• Commitment to onsite work 10-15 hours per week during Fall, up to 30 during Summer.
• Experience with characterization techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct materials characterization and perform cell building activities.
• Maintain accurate records and follow standard operating procedures.
• Ensure safe operation of lab equipment.
