Job summary

Solid Power, Inc. is seeking an R&D Intern to assist in developing next‑generation solid-state batteries. The intern will conduct materials characterization, perform cell building activities, and maintain lab safety protocols in a collaborative work environment.

The role requires a junior or senior pursuing a degree in chemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering. The position offers hourly compensation between $22 and $23, aiming for 10–15 hours in the fall and over 15 hours in the summer.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor's degree in relevant field, junior/senior level preferred.
• Experience in a dry-room environment and chemistry labs.
• Hands-on experience in glove boxes, dry rooms, or wet chemical labs is a plus.
