ABB is seeking a Quality Inspector/Tester lead to drive continuous improvement in the Quality testing operation at the Pinetops, NC site. You will train and evaluate testers, develop work instructions, and ensure testing procedures deliver consistent results for transformers while maintaining strict safety standards.

Role requires high school diploma, 6+ years manufacturing experience, knowledge of electrical testing principles, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 years of manufacturing experience.
• General understanding of electrical principles and testing methodologies.
• General proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Train testers and evaluate new testers.
• Develop and refine detailed work instructions to ensure testing consistency and accuracy.
• Ensure product quality through testing of transformers.
• Adhere to all required safety standards.
• Learn multiple test stations as business needs require.
• Train testers on proper test methods and procedures, with occasional off-shift coverage.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
