Job summary

Regal Rexnord seeks a Quality Engineer to support initiatives that improve internal and external quality across product lines. You will work on targets such as reducing PPM and improving first-pass yield, while performing inspections, planning, and documentation to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities include operating CMMs, performing in-process audits, and collaborating with QE and ME teams to drive corrective actions. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in related area preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of related experience required.
• Strong technical background to troubleshoot required.
• Experience in inspection department or in-process tools preferred but not required.
• CNC programming/operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and work to prints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts per industry best practice.
• Create inspection plans and advise on inspection gauges and processes for mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Inspect parts to ensure compliance and manage required documentation (FAI, PPK).
• Program and operate Optical Comparator (OGP), Faro CMM, and related inspection systems.
• Maintain daily 5S and metrics.
• Complete containment and final audits for all products.
• Issue corrective action requests and track resolutions.
• Perform internal audits to verify quality management compliance.
• Assist with Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
• Use Oracle, Access, Excel, and Outlook to record data and generate reports.
