Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift. This onsite role involves inspecting precision-manufactured components, collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure conformance to drawings and customer requirements.

You will perform first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspections, maintain inspection plans and records, and support CAPA investigations and MSA activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• GD&T understanding and ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article inspections, receiving inspections, in-process audits, and final inspections as directed.
• Verify product conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Conduct random quality audits throughout the production floor to ensure adherence to established processes and standards.
• Support manufacturing operations by identifying quality concerns and communicating findings to production, engineering, and quality teams.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of CMM, Vision System, and Contour Trace programs and inspection layouts.
• Create and maintain inspection plans, control plans, and related quality documentation.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Participate in corrective action investigations and follow-up activities as required.
• Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and process capability studies.
• Compile, analyze, and enter inspection data into computer systems.
• Prepare charts, graphs, and reports used for quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement projects.
• Provide support for special inspection or validation activities as needed.
