Job summary

The Quality Manager at Hoffman Construction will be a key member of the Quality department, reporting to the Quality Director. The role partners with project teams and trade partners to plan and execute quality work on-site daily, ensuring materials and installations meet contract documents and Hoffman standards.

Location is Boise area, fully onsite. Salary ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 DOE plus incentives, with a focus on developing staff, guiding QA/QC practices, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• At least five years of construction QA/QC or related experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred licensure in trade (e.g., electrician, welder) and OSHA 10/30.
• Experience with QA/QC systems and field leadership.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage project specific QA/QC Programs.
• Review and approve trade contractor QA/QC Programs and methods of procedures ensuring alignment with program requirements.
• Facilitate work groups for coordination on QA/QC activities with trade partners and project teams.
• Manage, schedule, coordinate, and witness QA/QC activities on site.
• Review design documents to identify constructability errors or omissions.
• Monitor construction activities to verify adherence to design documents and standards.
• Investigate, understand, and convey technical product properties and interactions.
• Mentor staff and be a conduit for technical information across the company.
