Oldcastle APG in Tracy/Stockton, CA is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee daily QC at concrete hardscape and masonry plants in your region. You will manage inspections, scheduling, and reporting on process improvements and non-conformances to stay on schedule and within budget.

The role requires familiarity with ASTM/CSA specs, strong leadership, and ability to build cross-functional relationships. Travel up to 50% is required, bilingual skills are a plus, and a base salary of $70,000 to

Qualifications

• Familiarity with ASTM and CSA specifications related to concrete products and raw materials.
• Knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning and leadership.
• Production methods and coordination of people and resources.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and cost control.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Bilingual preferred (English, French, Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Oversee formula and mix design accuracy at all plants and record-keeping.
• Develop and maintain quality formulas for cost-efficient production.
• Establish standards for quality control and assurance programs.
• Monitor QA testing and report to leadership on progress.
• Coordinate testing for finished goods and raw materials.
• Assist product managers as needed.
• Support line studies to ensure product consistency.
• Train QC personnel and operators.
• Lead root cause analysis for defects and customer complaints.
• Develop corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
