Job summary

RTX, including Pratt & Whitney Columbus operations, is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Inspection to oversee safety, training, and continuous improvement within the Inspection Operations. The role emphasizes delivering on-time delivery while enhancing quality and efficiency in a demanding manufacturing environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's or higher in engineering or manufacturing with several years of related experience, plus strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment OR an Associate’s degree and 4+ years in the same.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the team by driving a safety-first culture.
• Enable the Inspection Team by providing training and development.
• Lead a team that is empowered to make decisions that meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Identify opportunities for documentation of quality requirements to establish and implement improvements.
• Provide transparency in quality operations performance and plans to address gaps in meeting daily business objectives.
• Collaborate with the quality engineering and manufacturing engineering teams in addressing quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Lead the working team to develop continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives.
• Be available for shift overlap
