Job summary

RTX, in partnership with Pratt & Whitney, is seeking an Engine Inspector for the Columbus Engine Center. This 2nd shift role supports engine overhaul and assembly through meticulous inspection and strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and internal quality standards.

You will verify configurations, complete documentation, and help meet production goals while utilizing SAP and MS Office tools. A High School Diploma and 1+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant inspection experience preferred.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect engine components using precision tooling and verify proper configuration.
• Prepare and review engine package documentation and inspection reports (EIR).
• Support on-time production and inspection goals for the facility.
• Maintain accurate SAP records and ensure regulatory compliance in documentation.
• Review Fits and Clearances and ensure accuracy of technical data.
• Contribute to a team-based culture focused on continuous improvement.
